    Product Description

    The Dal Soggio 1P.RSKIT46-2024-2025 RS Kit is an internal rear suspension upgrade developed specifically for compatible KTM Enduro motorcycles from 2024 to 2026 using the corresponding 46 mm rear-shock configuration.

    The RS Kit improves the original shock by replacing the main hydraulic piston with a dedicated Dal Soggio component and combining it with a specific shim configuration.

    Rather than treating the piston and valving as separate elements, Dal Soggio redesigns both together to recalculate hydraulic oil flow through the shock during compression and rebound.

    At the center of the system is a 46 mm CNC-machined piston manufactured from ERGAL 7075 T6.

    The piston incorporates 4 oil passages and receives a hard-anodized surface treatment, providing a durable component designed for demanding off-road suspension use.

    Together with the dedicated shim stack, the revised piston architecture is designed to improve damping control while retaining the original rear-shock body and overall suspension layout.

    The result is a targeted internal upgrade for riders who want to increase the hydraulic capability of the standard KTM Enduro rear shock without replacing the complete suspension unit.

    Application & Compatibility

    The 1P.RSKIT46-2024-2025 is intended for compatible 46 mm rear shocks fitted to KTM Enduro motorcycles from 2024 to 2026.

    Dal Soggio separates this version from earlier RS D46 applications for:

    • KTM Enduro 2017-2019;
    • KTM Enduro 2020-2023;
    • KTM Enduro 2024-2026.

    The correct RS Kit should therefore be selected according to rear-shock platform, piston diameter, and model-year range, not simply according to motorcycle brand.

    The SKU name retains the suffix 2024-2025, but Dal Soggio’s current product page extends this exact part number to 2024-2026.

    How the RS Kit Works

    During rear-shock movement, suspension oil is forced through the main piston and corresponding shim stacks.

    Hydraulic resistance depends on the interaction between:

    • piston geometry;
    • oil-passage area;
    • shim-stack configuration;
    • shock shaft velocity.

    The RS Kit modifies these elements as a matched hydraulic system.

    Dal Soggio uses a redesigned 46 mm piston together with a specific shim configuration to alter and recalculate oil flow through the shock, changing the damping characteristics of the original rear suspension.

    46 mm CNC-Machined Piston

    The core component of the kit is the 46 mm Dal Soggio RS piston.

    It is CNC machined from ERGAL 7075 T6 and incorporates 4 oil passages.

    These passages allow suspension fluid to move through the piston, while the shim stacks regulate hydraulic resistance during compression and rebound.

    The piston receives a hard-anodized surface treatment, increasing surface durability for continuous operation inside the shock.

    Dedicated Shim Settings

    The RS Kit is designed as more than a replacement piston.

    Dal Soggio combines the piston with dedicated shim settings developed around its specific oil-flow characteristics.

    This allows the piston and valving to operate together as a complete hydraulic package.

    The intended benefits include improved management of:

    • compression damping;
    • rebound damping;
    • suspension movement through the stroke;
    • behavior at different shaft speeds;
    • rear-wheel control and consistency.

    Official Suggested Setup

    Dal Soggio publishes a baseline setup for the KTM 2T / 4T EXC 2024 RS Kit D46.

    Setting Dal Soggio Suggested Baseline
    High-Speed Compression 2 turns from closed toward open
    Low-Speed Compression 13 clicks open
    Rebound 12 clicks open
    Static Sag 38-40 mm
    Dynamic Sag 110-115 mm
    Shock Pressure 10 bar
    Oil SAE 3W

    These values should be treated as starting points for suspension setup, not fixed settings for every rider.

    Final adjustment should consider rider weight, spring rate, terrain, riding style, motorcycle setup, and front-to-rear chassis balance.

    Installation Note

    Installation requires complete servicing of the rear shock, removal of the original piston, installation of the Dal Soggio RS piston and dedicated shim configuration, correct oil filling and bleeding, shock pressurization, and final suspension setup.

    Because the rear shock is a pressurized hydraulic component requiring specialist tools and correct service procedures, installation and calibration by a qualified suspension technician or Dal Soggio specialist are recommended.
