    Product Description

The Dal Soggio 1P.FSR-48KYBSACHS3.0 FSR-48 Complete Front Fork is a high-performance suspension system developed for compatible Beta motorcycles using KYB / Sachs-based applications.

Designed and manufactured in Italy, the FSR-48 represents Dal Soggio Race’s complete racing fork platform. Instead of modifying a production fork with individual upgrade components, the FSR-48 is engineered as a complete suspension system combining premium materials, precision machining, advanced surface treatments, and Dal Soggio’s Sphere 3.0 hydraulic closed cartridge.

The outer fork tubes are manufactured from ERGAL 7075 T6 aluminum alloy and extensively machined internally to reduce friction and promote smooth suspension movement. Dal Soggio also uses ERGAL 7075 T6 for the axle lugs, which are CNC machined from solid material for precise geometry and structural integrity.

The inner fork tubes feature a DLC coating on the external sliding surface to reduce friction and improve wear resistance, while the internal surfaces receive a hard-anodized treatment. Together with premium SKF seals, these treatments are designed to support low-friction fork operation and consistent suspension performance.

At the heart of the fork is the Dal Soggio Sphere 3.0 hydraulic closed-cartridge system, developed to provide refined damping control, sensitivity, stability, and consistent feedback under demanding off-road riding conditions. Dal Soggio positions the FSR-48 as its complete racing fork for riders seeking maximum suspension performance across different off-road disciplines.

Dal Soggio specifies spring options from 4.4 N/mm to 5.2 N/mm across the FSR-48 platform, allowing the fork to be configured according to rider weight, riding discipline, and setup requirements. The manufacturer also specifies Dal Soggio Cube 5W fork oil for the FSR-48 system.

    Suspension Technology

    Sphere 3.0 Closed Cartridge

The FSR-48 integrates Dal Soggio’s Sphere 3.0 hydraulic cartridge, the latest evolution of the company’s closed-cartridge suspension concept.

Dal Soggio developed Sphere 3.0 to provide improved damping control, sensitivity, and stability, allowing the complete fork system to maintain consistent suspension behavior across changing terrain and riding conditions.

    ERGAL 7075 T6 Construction

Dal Soggio makes extensive use of ERGAL 7075 T6 throughout the FSR-48. The alloy is used for both the outer fork tubes and axle lugs, combining high-strength construction with precision machining.

The axle lugs are CNC machined from solid ERGAL 7075 T6 material, while the outer tubes receive extensive internal machining to optimize their internal surfaces.

    DLC & Hard-Anodized Inner Tubes

The fork inner tubes combine two different surface treatments:

    • DLC coating on the outside
    • Hard anodizing on the inside

The external DLC treatment is intended to minimize sliding friction and improve surface durability, while internal hard anodizing provides a hard, wear-resistant surface within the tube.

    Vehicle / Fork Compatibility

    • Beta motorcycles
    • KYB / Sachs application configuration

Exact Beta model and model-year compatibility is not specified on the official product page for SKU 1P.FSR-48KYBSACHS3.0 and should therefore be confirmed before ordering.

    Spring & Setup Information

Dal Soggio lists 4.4 N/mm through 5.2 N/mm spring rates for the FSR-48 platform. Final spring selection and damping setup should be matched to rider weight, riding level, motorcycle configuration, and intended discipline.

Dal Soggio recommends installation and setup through a specialist suspension center so that spring rate, damping settings, fork position, and overall chassis balance can be correctly configured.

    Service Fluid

Dal Soggio specifies Cube 5W suspension oil for the FSR-48 front fork.

    Installation Note

The FSR-48 is a complete high-performance front fork assembly, not simply an internal cartridge upgrade.

Correct installation and setup should include verification of motorcycle compatibility, axle and brake interfaces, fork positioning, spring rate, damping setup, and chassis balance.

Professional suspension installation and setup are strongly recommended to obtain the intended performance and ensure safe operation.
