The VHM AA33166 Gold Performance Cylinder Head is developed for KTM 250 SX, Husqvarna TC 250, and GASGAS MC 250 2-stroke motorcycles, providing a race-focused upgrade with improved cooling efficiency and interchangeable combustion chamber technology.
Manufactured from a high-quality aluminum alloy, the cylinder head is designed to deliver strong, consistent engine performance under demanding motocross conditions. Its improved internal water duct promotes more effective heat transfer, helping maintain stable engine temperatures during extended high-load and high-rpm riding.
The VHM interchangeable insert system allows the combustion chamber to be matched to the specific engine and piston configuration without replacing the complete cylinder head. For KTM 250 SX, Husqvarna TC 250, and GASGAS MC 250 models using the OEM piston, VHM specifies the AE32272-E standard insert, featuring a 22.20cc combustion chamber.
The head also supports dedicated configurations for enduro and performance piston setups. The AE32272-T insert is the VHM standard for KTM 250 EXC and Husqvarna TE 250 applications, while AE32272-024 is designed for the VHM 12° piston configuration.
The cylinder head uses O-ring sealing for a precise and reliable interface. An M6x6 vent screw and BD36006 copper sealing washer are included and pre-installed.
Finished in VHM’s signature gold color, the AA33166 combines improved thermal management, tuning flexibility, and race-ready construction for competitive 250cc 2-stroke applications.
Combustion chamber inserts are not included and must be ordered separately.
