VHM 27.50cc Cylinder Head Insert for KTM 300 EXC & Husqvarna TE 300

The VHM AE32274-E 27.50cc cylinder head insert is designed for selected KTM and Husqvarna 300cc 2-stroke engines using VHM cylinder heads AA33167 and AA33172.

On the AA33167 platform, VHM specifies AE32274-E as the standard combustion chamber for KTM 300 EXC / XC / XC-W and Husqvarna TE 300 / TX 300 applications. It is developed to provide balanced overall performance, combining usable bottom-end torque, strong mid-range response, and consistent high-rpm performance.

The insert features a 27.50cc combustion chamber volume, 0.00 mm piston height, 1.90 mm squish, a flat-top piston crown profile, and a Ø72 mm bore.

VHM’s interchangeable combustion chamber system allows the insert to be changed without replacing the complete cylinder head, making servicing easier and allowing engine characteristics to be adjusted through alternative chamber volumes.

The AE32274-E also provides good resistance to detonation and features an engraved part-number reference for quick identification during servicing and engine setup.

For motorcycles equipped with the AA33172 TPI cylinder head, VHM lists AE32274-E as an optional 27.50cc insert, while the 28.50cc AE32274-F is the standard configuration.

This insert is not compatible with an OEM cylinder head and must be used with the appropriate VHM cylinder head.
